Slowly, as we change our behavior, it becomes us. Still, it takes an effort to shape our habits. So how can you translate motivation to practice?
A WELLcommunity Workplace encourages a growth mindset. Maintaining motivation, comes with a willingness to learn from our mistakes. WE use SMART goals that are Specific, Measureable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-based. Short term benchmarks offer opportunities to check-in and make adjustments as needed, while the connectedness of a group provides support and inspiration.

What comes to mind when you hear “diet”? For many, it conjures calorie counting and restriction. The exact definition of diet: “food and drink considered in terms of its qualities, composition, and its effects on health.” We all consume a diet, whether or not it has a name. Well Together Now challenges you to reframe your thinking. Instead of the negative connotations associated with the word “diet,” choose positive associations of mindfulness and sustainability when it comes to food.

Exercise is not one size fits all. However, it is necessary to include physical activity as part of a wellness plan. WELLcommunity Workplace offers group-based classes tailored to the goals and fitness level of your team. Coach Dawn is a certified personal trainer and run coach. She has experience leading small and large groups in strength training and incorporating activities to increase cardiovascular fitness. The group design offers camaraderie and accountability. Homework may also be included upon request.
